Saône-et-Loire

Between the rivers Saône and Loire, lies the territory of South Burgundy, from the steep terrain of the Macon area to the plains of Bresse, several wine areas rub shoulders : the Côte Chalonnaise, the Mâconnais, the Couchois, the Tornugeois and the Maranges. The great mineral whites of the North contrast with the rounder golden whites further South. The land is rich in produce such as goat's cheese and it is also home to the infamous Charollais cow. Not to mention the delicious poulet de Bresse. An invitation for a moment of pleasure!
